Telehealth therapy is safe, secure, convenient, and effective. You no longer have to fight traffic, weather, or child care to come to therapy. I utilize software that meets or exceeds strict standards for security. You can use equipment you already have (desktop computer, tablet, or mobile phone) to attend your session from a site convenient to you. And, yes, you can have the kids in your own home during therapy.
Even if you are a couple stuck in different parts of the metro area, you can still attend your appointment.
If you are inside the State of Oklahoma during your session, we can meet.
Here’s what you will need to participate in a Mental Telehealth session:
- A computer, tablet, or smart phone with a video camera (web cam) and microphone.
- An internet connection with a bandwidth of at least 10 MBPS. An ethernet cable or Wifi when possible to ensure you receive the best possible connection through your internet provider (While video therapy is encrypted for security, I encourage you to consult with a computer service professional to learn more about your personal, internet security).
- I encourage you download the GoToMeeting app from https://www.gotomeeting.com/fe... You will not need a subscription.
- A secure room at your location (so you can talk openly and freely and maintain your confidentiality).
- Be inside the State of Oklahoma (I am only licensed to practice in Oklahoma).
- A credit card for payment. (Please check with your insurance provider about their coverage for mental telehealth).
Your sessions are always secure. I do not record them.
I will send you the information you need to get started when you sign up and before each session.
You will pay by credit card through your secure client portal. (The credit card information is stored directly with a licensed credit card processing company)
